Looking for the Mother
The TV broadcast asked for Kerstin’s mother to come forward, and the police began to reinvestigate Elisabeth’s disappearance. Josef again told them that his daughter had joined a cult, and showed them a new letter dated 2008. The police were skeptical and consulted a cult expert named Manfred Wohlfahrt, who said that the letters were odd. Still in the cellar, Elisabeth asked her father if she could see her daughter. He agreed, and released her on April 26. It would be the beginning of justice for Elisabeth.
